WWW Wednesday: 03 April 2019

Happy Wednesday book friends! Another Wednesday means another WWW Wednesday, which is a meme sponsored by Sam at Taking on a World of Words. To take part, you just have to answer the following questions:

  • What are you currently reading?
  • What did you recently finish reading?
  • What do you think you will read next?

Currently Reading

I had to put both of these books on hold in order to meet some deadlines for other books that I had in my ARC queue.

If I Can Make It Here by Jamie Rose (eARC) – I’m loving this rom-com. It’s witty and full of romantic entanglements. I’m about 50% through, and I can’t wait to see how this story finishes!

The Crowns of Croswald by D.E. Night – This is a buddy read that I’m doing with my friend. I’m really enjoying all of the magic and adventure. If you’re a Harry Potter fan, you’ll definitely want to read this!

Recently Finished

In the Night of Memory by Linda LaGarde Grover (ARC) – 3 stars. Thankfully this book is short because I didn’t receive it in the mail until this past weekend, but the review was due on 02 April 2019. I won this book from reading an excerpt at Bookish First. The first few chapters are absolutely heart wrenching, but I HAD to know more. Unfortunately, this book did not pan out the way that I thought it would.

I Know You by Erik Therme (eARC) – 4 stars. This story was an absolute page turner filled with plot twists along the way. I was hooked from the prologue. My review will be posted on 16 April 2019 as a part of the blog tour sponsored by Bookouture.

The Sword and the Dagger by Robert Cochran (ARC) – 4 stars. I read this book in one sitting on Saturday. I didn’t set out to, but I just couldn’t seem to put it down. This YA historical fiction/fantasy takes place during the Crusades, and three unlikely friends must band together to save their respective kingdoms. Such a great read full of adventure.

Up Next to Read

Have you read any of these books? Are any of these on your TBR? Also, please leave your WWW Wednesday links in the comments.
