Hey book friends! I am back for another WWW Wednesday post. Just as a reminder WWW Wednesday is a meme sponsored by Sam at Taking on a World of Words. To take part, you just have to answer the following questions:
- What are you currently reading?
- What did you recently finish reading?
- What do you think you will read next?
Currently Reading

- Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire by J.K. Rowling (audiobook) – I loved the Quidditch World Cup. So much more happened that what I realized from the book. Good on Hermoine for taking a stance for House Elves when everyone else doesn’t seem to care. I’m definitely loving every second of this book!
Recently Finished Reading
- Wanderers by Chuck Wendig (audiobook) – 2 stars. Okay, so Wanderers has a rating of above 4 on Goodreads, and I am over here asking myself how. I had such high hopes for this one, and it let me down big time. Also, there was absolutely no reason for this book to be the length that it was considering the majority of the plot was lack luster at best.
- The Beekeeper’s Cottage by Emma Davies (eARC) – 4 stars. A wonderful story of friendships and romance amongst the gorgeous backdrop of Hope Corner. Here’s my review.
- The Last Hope by Krista & Becca Ritchie (eARC) – 4 stars. The conclusion that I wanted to this awesome duology. Loved this one. Here is my review.
- Things You Save in a Fire by Katherine Center (ARC) – 5 stars. What an INCREDIBLE book. This will easily be one of my favorite reads from this week. Here is my review.
- The Revolution of Birdie Randolph by Brandy Colbert (ARC) – 4 stars. This was one of those books that transported me back to my 16 year old self especially since it was an #ownvoices read. So many important topics were discussed in this one. My review will be up this week.
- On the Corner of Love and Hate by Nina Bocci (eARC) – 4 stars. This was quick read for me. It definitely had a few cliche moments, but overall, I really enjoyed this enemies to lovers romance, which is one of my absolute favorite tropes. I loved snarky the banter between Emma and Cooper. My review will be coming soon.
Up Next to Read
- The Night Caller by J.M. Hewitt
- Color Me In by Natasha Diaz
- Cold Storage by David Koepp
Have you read any of these? Are any of these on your TBR? Let’s discuss! Also, please leave your WWW Wednesday links in the comments.
I’ve been so on the fence about picking up Wanderers. On one hand, it sounds really interesting. But it just sounds like it’s going to be far too long and I don’t really know if I want to put myself through that!

Parts of it were good, but the length is really too much. Most of the time, you feel like a “wanderer”. That’s just my opinion though.

I think that there are probably other books I would enjoy more, but maybe someday I’ll be able to give this a shot!

Good to know your thoughts on Wanderers, Toya. I have that one and have high hopes like you did, but that is a whopper of a read!

500 pages to me is a long book much less 800+. I would still give it a try, but when you have the time to devote to that beast of a book.
