Hi everyone! I am still struggling with getting back into the routine of doing this every single Wednesday, but it’s the thought that counts, right?!
Anyways, here’s another WWW Wednesday. Hopefully, you know the drill. If not:
Just as a reminder WWW Wednesday is a meme sponsored by Sam at Taking on a World of Words. To take part, you just have to answer the following questions:
- What are you currently reading?
- What did you recently finish reading?
- What do you think you will read next?
Currently Reading
- The Chestnut Man by Soren Sveistrup – I’m FINALLY reading this one as part of a buddy read, and everything you’ve heard about this one being gruesome is absolutely true. However, I can’t seem to tear my eyes away, so I am excited to keep going.
- Night Spinner by Addie Thorley (ARC) – I am 100 pages in, and I’m here for this gender bent Hunchback of Notre Dame retelling!
- In the Shadow of the Sun by EM Castellan (ARC) – This one is more of a slow burn, but I love that it takes place in 1600s Paris with King Louis XIV and some devious magic.
- Get a Life, Chloe Brown by Talia Hibbert (audiobook) – I may have choked laughing several times at this one already…as well as blushed at some of the more steamy scenes.
Recently Finished Reading
- With the Fire on High by Elizabeth Acevedo (audiobook) – 5 stars. I am officially an Elizabeth Acevedo fan girl. It took me way too long to get to her books, and they have been INCREDIBLE. Review to come.
- The Grace Year by Kim Liggett (audiobook) – 4.5 stars. This is a reread for me, but I wanted to do the audio this time. It was incredible!
- Dark Matter by Blake Crouch (audiobook) – 4 stars. Part thriller, part love story, part sci-fi. I definitely get the hype surrounding this one. Review to come.
- The Deep by Rivers Solomon (audiobook) – 4.5 stars. An incredible and imaginative slave retelling. Revie to come.
- You Are Not Alone by Greer Hendricks and Sarah Pekkanen (ALC) – 3 stars. I was definitely disappointed in this one versus An Anonymous Girl. Review to come.
- The Last Confession of Autumn Casterly by Meredith Tate (ARC) – 5 stars. Everyone needs to read this damn book. Yes, it is that good and it’s so important! Here’s my review.
Up Next to Read
- Death in the Family by Tessa Wegert
- Wool by Hugh Howey
- Mageborn by Jessica Thorne
- The Seventh Sun by Lani Forbes
Have you read any of these? Are any of these on your TBR? Let’s discuss!
Also, please leave your WWW Wednesday links in the comments.
Night Spinner has such a gorgeous cover, and I’m really curious about it. Looking forward to seeing what you think when you’re done. Your upcoming reads look fantastic! Hope you enjoy.
