Hello hello! Welcome to another WWW Wednesday friends!
Just as a reminder WWW Wednesday is a meme sponsored by Sam at Taking on a World of Words. To take part, you just have to answer the following questions:
- What are you currently reading?
- What did you recently finish reading?
- What do you think you will read next?
Currently Reading
- Into the Black Nowhere (UNSUB #2) by Meg Gardiner (audiobook) – I loved UNSUB, so I am so excited to be back with Caitlin and now Rainey. So far, it’s everything I wanted for book two.
- The Winter Duke by Claire Eliza Bartlett (ARC) – The world building in this one is fascinating. I can’t wait to see how this one plays out.
- A Phoenix First Must Burn edited by Patrice Caldwell (ARC) – This is the black girl magic that I have needed my whole life. Also shout out to Queen Elizabeth Acevedo on her incredible short story!
Recently Finished Reading
- These Ghosts are Family by Maisy Card (ARC) – 4 stars. An explosive literary debut that tackles so many societal issues like slavery, racism, infidelity, family secrets, and family drama. Here is my review.
- The Vanishing Deep by Astrid Scholte (ARC) – 3 stars. The world building in this one is so good, but I just felt like this was one was okay. Here is my review.
- One Little Lie by Colleen Coble (ARC) – 4 stars. So pleasantly surprised with this one! Will be reading more from this author! Here is my review.
- Children of Sinai by Shelley Clarke (ebook) – 3.5 stars. I love books that blur nonfiction and fiction, and this author does it well! Here is my review.
Up Next to Read
- The Deep by Alma Katsu
- Darling Rose Gold by Stephanie Wrobel
- Salvation Station by Kathryn Schleich
- Saving Eden b K.R.S. McEntire
Have you read any of these? Are any of these on your TBR? Let’s discuss!
Also, please leave your WWW Wednesday links in the comments.
The Children of Sinai book looks interesting!

Oooh, I’ve been interested in A Phoenix First Must Burn! I’ll be looking forward to your review of it. The Deep is on my upcoming reads, too, and I’ve just barely started it, but I really like the author’s writing style so far. Saving Eden sounds great, too! Hope you enjoy them.
