WWW Wednesday: 06 May 2020

Hey everyone! Happy Wednesday! Welcome to another WWW Wednesday! As a reminder, WWW Wednesday is a meme sponsored by Sam at Taking on a World of Words. To take part, you just have to answer the following questions:

  • What are you currently reading?
  • What did you recently finish reading?
  • What do you think you will read next?

Currently Reading

  • Daughters of Smoke and Fire by Ava Homa (ARC) – I can already tell that this one is going to be heavy and is going to tear me apart. I have read few books on the turmoil of the Middle East, and after only a few chapters, I am already shook. Send help.
  • Stalking Jack the Ripper by Kerri Maniscalco (audiobook) – WHY did I wait so long for this one? Why didn’t y’all tell me how amazing Audrey Rose is?! JK. You did. I didn’t listen. I’m eating my words.

Recently Finished Reading

  • The Roxy Letters by Mary Pauline Lowry (audiobook) – 3.5 stars. Roxy is a hot mess. This was a fun and lighthearted read packed with laughs. Review to come.
  • Fractured Tide by Leslie Lutz – 4 stars. This was a chilling, atmospheric tale that had me engrossed from the beginning. There were so many WTF moments. Loved it. Here is my review.
  • The Unready Queen (Oddmire #2) by William Ritter (eARC) – 4 stars. This was such a fun follow up to Oddmire. Cole and Tinn are back for more crazy adventures, but now, Fable also takes centerstage. I flew through this one! Review to come.
  • The Guest List by Lucy Foley (ALC) – 3.5 stars. This was a wild ride. The pacing was a bit off for me, hence the 3.5 stars, but I didn’t see the final reveal and the audio is amazing!
  • Harrow Lake by Kat Ellis (eARC) – 4 stars. This book is so damn creepy, which is saying something because it’s YA. Y’all can keep Mr. Jitters. Nope nope nope. Review to come.
  • Sadie by Courtney Summers (audiobook) – 5 stars. OMG. I don’t know why I took so long to read this book. It was PHENOMENAL!
  • Clap When You Land by Elizabeth Acevedo (audiobook) – 5 stars. Queen Acevedo killed it yet again! Honestly, I don’t even know why I am surprised anymore. Her books are always five stars and need to be read. Review to come.

Up Next to Read

Honestly, I’m not sure what’s up next to read. I’ve been doing more mood reading even with review obligations, so we shall see what I decide on next.

Have you read any of these? Are any of these on your TBR? Let’s discuss!

Also, please leave your WWW Wednesday links in the comments.
